Comparing myRent and RentManager inspections?
myRent's current inspection page describes its separate myInspections app for photos, videos, notes, maintenance tasks and electronic signing of inspection reports. RentManager shows inspection scheduling, written notices, room-by-room condition records, photos and reports linked to a property and tenancy.
RentManager does not currently provide the same dedicated native inspection app, inspection video capture or inspection report signing. Check these fit points and your tenants' needs before moving your inspection workflow.
Inspect a fictional completed report
This fictional report uses the same four room findings as the demo inspection: one shower-seal repair assigned for follow-up and an extractor fan to monitor. The report is dated 2026-10-02. Its address and names are fictional; it has no tenant acknowledgement, signature or verification record.

Scope and limitations
Software does not create a right of entry. Residential inspections generally require at least 48 hours written notice, must be within the lawful time window and cannot be more frequent than the Act allows.

One small-landlord subscription
All prices include GST: NZ$9 per month for one dwelling, NZ$19 for up to 5 dwellings, and NZ$29 for up to 10 dwellings. Annual billing is paid once per year: NZ$90 for Starter, NZ$190 for Standard, and NZ$290 for Standard+. The trial does not require a credit card.
